Partners

2009 October 22
by kyrie

I’m so sorry guys, I have three sick, feverish kiddos here and am having a hard time getting anything done, much less the partner emails.

Can you give me through the weekend?

I guarantee if you got a confirmation email when you signed up, you will be assigned a partner by Sunday.

Thank you so much for understanding.

xo, Kyrie

Oh my, the votes were so close, but in the end Stacy came out on top for her lovely Harvest Doll:

(photo taken by her exchange partner, Chelsea)

Shelley of Waldorfmama, who was our featured sponsor for the Autumn Exchange, is giving everyone a peek of the Mother Nature who will be going to Stacy over at her blog today, go take a look!

Congratulations, Stacy!

Now all of you get working on your Winter Exchange packages, because we have four generous prize packages to be given out for this exchange, which I’ll be telling you more about next.

Thank you so much for all the work and thought you are putting into our exchange- it makes this so wonderful for everyone!

Prizes for Autumn Exchange {Harvest}

2009 October 7
by kyrie

It’s prize time!

One of Ella’s lovely crowns is going to the randomly chosen entry #69, which happened to be Marina Small of A Small Tribe. Congratulations, Marina! I’ll be passing your information along to Ella.

Shelley’s prize of a sweet nature table doll will be given to the person who made your favorite package, so go take another look through our flickr group and leave a comment on this post telling me who your favorite is (don’t worry, your comments won’t be seen by anyone but me). I will close comments after one week, on October 15th, and announce the winner then.

Don’t have a flickr account? You can sign up for a free account and post your photos, or ask your partner to post photos of what they received and attribute it properly.

Thank you so much for all the thought and care you put into your packages. I was delighted to see so many returning names for our Winter Exchange!

Next up, I’ll be letting you know the four amazing prizes that are being offered for the Winter Exchange…we are going to have some very lucky winners indeed!

Thank you! We are full for this time, but join us on January 1 2010 to sign up for the Spring Exchange {Awakening}!

Remember our theme this time is Light and our package sendout deadline is December 7 (to allow both for the holiday mail rush and to give us all time to focus on our own celebrations). If you have any more questions about the timeline, please refer to the sidebar to the right. Questions about most other things can be found on these pages: about the Seasons Round Exchange, what you are expected to include in your package, and frequently asked questions.

Thank you for being a part of the Seasons Round Exchange!

REMINDER: SIGNUPS TODAY!

2009 October 1
by kyrie

Just a little reminder that signups will be here, today, at 5pm Pacific Time (that is GMT -7 for you folks internationally). When you come here at that time, there will be a link to click on to go to the signup form. Complete it, and you will get an immediate confirmation email- it’s that easy! I’m sorry, but no signups will be taken other than those who fill out the form.

I am so excited for this exchange, and this theme: {LIGHT}. I know that you all will come up with wonderful seasonal natural interpretations of that.

If you have any questions, please refer first to these pages:

You are welcome to email me at seasonsround(at)gmail(dot)com with any further questions and I will try to get back to you just as soon as possible!

The signup form will only be available to the first 100 participants to sign up. If you don’t get a slot this time, please consider joining us for the Spring Exchange! The signups will be January 1, 2010 and the theme will be {AWAKENING}. A good way to stay reminded of everything going on is to subscribe to this blog and/or become a member of our fabulous flickr group (which has fast become my go-to resource for inspiration).

Thank you so much for all your interest! See you here at 5!

This is it! We’ve reached the day! Hopefully your package went out today, or you made arrangements with your partner otherwise. If you have any questions or concerns, please do email me and we’ll get it all straightened out. You guys have been so awesome.

Speaking of awesome, have you been keeping an eye on what’s going on in our flickr group? Wow is all I can say. How inspiring! Can’t wait to see more photos as packages are sent and received.

News about prizes!

2009 August 5
by kyrie

We’ll have two prizes during this round of Seasons Round Exchange, and I know you are going to be excited about them; so generous and amazing! One of the prizes will be offered at random to one of the participants, and the other will be offered to the participant’s package that gets the most votes when it’s all over (there will be a nomination and polling process here to wind up the exchange).

First, from Ella at Little Red Caboose, one of her stunning play crowns.

What she says about her crowns:

These wool felt crowns are a part of our daily play. In our home they are the baker man’s crown, the builder’s crown, the “going out” crown… the possibilities are endless. Be it for a Birthday celebration or imaginative play they are sure to add some magic.
They are made of soft 100% wool felt and lined with a blended wool. There is a cotton fabric covered elastic at the back to fit various children’s heads. The buttons are wooden and the trim is cotton.

I personally (ahem, I mean, my girls) have one of these and can attest to their quality and beauty. Some lucky family will be getting one of these treasures in the mail, just for being a part of the exchange! {Note: it will not be one of the crowns pictured here, but something similar. You can see more at her shop!}

Second, from Shelley at Waldorfmama, a nature table doll similar to the one pictured below. If you’re anything like me, you’ve seen dolls like these in Shelley’s flickr stream and drooled over them! She is hoping to eventually sell these in her Waldorfmama shop, if she ever gets caught up on hats

I am so thrilled that not only have these mamas decided to take part in this exchange, they are also offering a generous portion of their talent as a gift to you. Thank you, Ella and Shelley

Look for both Ella and Shelley in the sidebar – they are our featured sponsors. What a wonderful thing, to be able to support two such amazing women!

p.s. If any of you or anyone you know is interested in offering a prize for a future exchange, please email me at seasonsround at gmail dot com. Thank you!!!

Fellow Participants

by kyrie

Have all of you already gotten in touch with your partners? I just wanted to let you know that all of the participants who listed a blog or website have been listed in the sidebar — a good place to look for inspiration, and a wonderful place to connect with other like-minded people! I’ve found some really wonderful new-to-me-blogs through the swap already, and I think you will too!

If you don’t find yourself over there, or decide to start a blog, just write to me at seasonsround{at}gmail{dot}com and I’ll put you on the list!

Matches made!

2009 July 21
by kyrie

All the matches have been made, so you should all have a message from me in your inbox about who your partner is. If that’s not the case, email me at seasonsround{at}gmail{dot}com and we’ll get things sorted out. Please introduce yourself to your partner in the next couple of weeks – I’ll be checking in around August 1 just to be sure everything is going smoothly.

About half of you have blogs and/or shops, and that list will be updated and in the sidebar soon, so we can all connect with other like-minded people. You live in many different places- from Slovenia to Australia, the UK to the Netherlands, Canada, Germany,  the United States — it’s really quite exciting!

Let me know if any of you want to do a guest post here; I’m happy to set that up! Again, any questions or concerns, just shoot me an email.

Spend August making a lovely nature table package for your partner! More to come about the prizes (!!!) and many other wonderful links to inspire you, so be sure to check back in.

Thanks, everyone, and have fun!
